Sridevi completes shoot of her next film “Mom”: – The mother of famous Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor will soon release her next upcoming movie ‘Mom’, which is produced by her husband, Boney Kapoor. Her last release ‘English Vinglish’ (2012) got much success at the box office. The story of the movie ‘Mom’ is based on a mother who struggles with her 18 years old Daughter. This film might be introduced to the audience on this current year, but the information is not yet confirmed. Sridevi recently finished ‘Mom’s’ shooting in Georgia with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khana and respected Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui.
It was the very hard time of team to shoot in Georgia because of its cold climate, with minus 7-degree temperature the team completed its testing schedule and also done its shooting tasks in various snow covered locations for the scenes. This movie is being directed by Ravi Udyawar, who is making debut with ‘Mom.’
The film gets more interesting due to the presence of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in ‘Mom’, who is a very talented actor and he had recently released ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ which failed to respond well at the box office. The role of Nawazuddin is not yet confirmed. Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui will play the role of the husband of Sridevi, and he will manage the relationships between the stepdaughter & step mother. Earlier Adnan was the part of Hollywood film ‘A Mighty Hut.’
The role of stepdaughter will be played by Akshara Haasan, who made her film debut in Amitabh Bachchan’s movie Shamitabh. Akshaye Khana who will be soon seen in theaters with is new movie Dhishoom, it is his first time that he is working with Sridevi, the actor was afraid at the starting, but somehow the Indian Film Producer Boney Kapoor convinced him to sign up for the cast. Akshaye Khana Will be playing the role of Cop in the movie ‘Mom.’
“Mom’s” release date is not yet confirmed; there are the waits up for the trailer also. It is a Woman-Centric film including drama. There are not many details about the movie as Sridevi prefers not to reveal any details about it.
