Does Aamir Khan have Death Phobia ? :- Humans tend to have phobias. A phobia is an extreme or irrational fear or aversion to something. Just like any normal human being, the celebrities, and famous personalities do have phobias, however, some of them speak about their phobias while others prefer to not share it publically. It’s a matter of choice, though.
The majority of the celebrities and the superstars are quite reluctant to share their phobias but unlike other Aamir Khan chose to be the odd one out. He came out openly and spoke of his phobia or death anxiety while shooting for the movies, will all.
Discussing a bit about death anxiety- Death anxiety aka Thanatophobia aka fear of death is a fear of death or dead or dying people etc. As we all know that Aamir Khan focuses a lot on perfection and he would focus more on quality than quantity. This is why he believes in releasing only a few works by him rather than just doing the work for the heck of it. His great work can be seen in movies like “Tare Zameen Par”, “3 idiots”, “Ghajini”, “Lagaan”, and many others. In a recent gathering, Aamir Khan disclosed to the audience about his fear of death which he had kept under the wraps for quite some time now.
He also discussed “what stresses him out”. And in response to the question, he said that he stresses about really small things. He said that a movie doesn’t work out the way we want it to be. What if die, what if I get injured badly, and that too in a case where the whole movie is so dependent on him. He also said that life is so uncertain and unpredictable that anything can happen to anyone.
On asking about the method of selection of the movie to cast in, he simply said that there is no scientific method for this. The script is what makes him decide whether to do the film or not. And he also said he doesn’t like himself to be identified as a method actor. He clarifies that he doesn’t even know what method acting is and as far as acting is concerned, he never had any formal education in it.
Keeping in mind, his death anxiety, Mr. Perfectionist has made a note in which he has provided a list of the Do’s and Don’ts in case if he suffers from something.
While Aamir Khan was shooting for the movie “Dangal” he took a break of five months from his schedule and asked the director of the movie, Mr. Nitesh Tiwari, to continue things as planned in case if something happens to him. He also suggested the director to find the right person to play the role of the young Mahavir Singh Phogat. Sources also confirmed that he recommended names from Bollywood industry like Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor to play the character of the young Mahavir Singh Phogat.
